About The Position

The Product Manager of Rx Readiness serves as the Part D subject‑matter owner responsible for ensuring benefit changes and strategy are clearly understood, accurately interpreted, and consistently communicated across sales and member‑facing tools and channels. This role focuses on readiness and clarity - interpreting complex Part D strategy, benefit design, and regulatory changes to define the intended understanding and recommended framing, enabling accurate and consistent downstream execution across marketing, sales, digital, and service teams. This position follows a hybrid schedule with four in-office days per week.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in healthcare, insurance, or regulated digital/product environments, with demonstrated exposure to Part D benefit concepts and strategy, including formulary changes, average member cost dynamics, and accumulators
  • Experience working effectively in matrixed environments, partnering across product, pharmacy, marketing, sales, operations, compliance, digital, and vendor teams
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate complex or ambiguous information, surface risk and readiness considerations, and make well reasoned recommendations in fast paced environments with competing priorities
  • Demonstrated solid communication skills, with experience explaining complex benefit concepts to non SME audiences to support accurate downstream execution

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience supporting Part D readiness activities, such as AEP preparation, benefit change communication, formulary or pricing updates, or implementation of regulatory changes
  • Exposure to digital or AI enabled member experiences (e.g., shopping tools, cost estimators, chat or virtual assistants), with an understanding of how benefit logic and messaging translate into consumer experiences
  • Demonstrated ability to identify patterns of confusion or friction, using feedback, questions, or performance insights to inform refinements to content or explanations

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a readiness lead and subject‑matter owner for Part D benefit design, strategy, and changes - ensuring organizational understanding and preparedness ahead of key milestones (e.g., AEP, mid‑year changes, regulatory updates)
  • Translate complex Part D concepts, benefit changes, and regulatory requirements into clear, consumer‑friendly and broker‑ready explanations that downstream teams can confidently use
  • Proactively identify benefit areas likely to create confusion, misinterpretation, or operational risk, and drive alignment on how those topics should be explained to varying stakeholders
  • Provide Part D readiness oversight for digital and AI‑enabled experiences (e.g., shopping flows, member tools, AI Avery chat / voice), ensuring benefit logic, flows, and explanations are sound, consumer‑appropriate, and ready for launch
  • Participate in review and testing of AI‑assisted and AI‑generated Part D content to ensure outputs are accurate, compliant, and aligned to the intended strategic narrative, benefit positioning, and member understanding prior to launch
  • Support ongoing refinement based on observed confusion, feedback, and performance insights
  • Identify, mitigate, and escalate accuracy, compliance, or strategic risks tied to digital experiences and content, supporting timely issue resolution and capability solutioning with cross‑functional partners
  • Build solid cross‑functional alignment with product, digital, pharmacy, marketing, compliance, and operations teams, communicating clearly on scope, decisions, readiness, and risk

Benefits

  • comprehensive benefits package
  • incentive and recognition programs
  • equity stock purchase
  • 401k contribution
