About The Position

For over 50 years, LexisNexis Reed Technology has partnered with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality patent data processing solutions. Our work transforms complex, unstructured patent submissions into standardized, searchable outputs that power examiner workflows and public dissemination. We operate in a highly regulated environment with strict security requirements, large-scale data volumes, and complex business rules. Our focus is on modernizing legacy workflows through automation, AI, and platform transformation to improve efficiency, accuracy, and cost effectiveness. We are seeking a Product Manager II to lead modernization initiatives across patent data processing workflows spanning pre-grant and grant operations. This role will focus on improving operational efficiency, reducing manual effort, and enabling scalable automation across core processing pipelines using AI-native approaches. You will own one or more strategic product areas and drive execution against a roadmap focused on measurable business outcomes, including productivity gains, workflow automation, quality improvement, and realized cost reduction. You will work closely with engineering, operations, finance, and data teams to identify automation opportunities, validate business hypotheses, and deliver solutions that improve both internal workflows and downstream customer value. The ideal candidate combines strong product execution skills with analytical thinking, technical curiosity, and comfort operating in ambiguity. This role requires someone who can connect product decisions directly to operational and economic outcomes, not just feature delivery.
