About The Position

Smartsheet is seeking a Product Manager II to join their Product Organization. This role is crucial for driving growth by enhancing Collaboration Experiences through a Product-Led Growth strategy. The Product Manager will be responsible for the strategy of user collaboration and expansion within Smartsheet organically, focusing on increasing conversion, retention, and viral growth loops via continuous experimentation. The position is eligible for remote work within the US where Smartsheet is a registered employer.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of product management experience.
  • Substantial experience in a Product-Led Growth environment or building viral/sharing features.
  • A data-driven mentality with a focus on experimentation, metrics, and analytics.
  • Experience partnering with engineering, design, user research, and marketing teams in agile development environments with frequent product releases.
  • High interpersonal skills to build strategic cross-team partnerships focused on customer benefit.
  • Technical degree or equivalent experience working with engineers to make product decisions.
  • Comfortable using AI tools (e.g., Claude, Lovable, Cursor, or similar) with a curious and experimental mindset towards emerging capabilities, while also critically assessing AI's value versus human judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Define features and experiences based on customer needs, market trends, and business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with design and engineering to create high-quality customer experiences.
  • Present strategy, product concepts, and roadmaps to senior leadership to ensure alignment.
  • Utilize data for experimentation, A/B testing, decision-making, and success evaluation.
  • Partner with research, product design, data science, and analytics teams to conduct quantitative experiments and analysis.
  • Support other duties as needed.
