About The Position

Advantech product manager is a challenging and strategic position. We are seeking Product Manager to manage industrial motherboard product line, its related projects and go-to-market strategies. This role is pivotal in aligning Advantech embedded group capabilities to drive growth and customer success.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in product management, project management, or product engineering within the PC industry or related fields.
  • Clear understanding of x86 PC platform, technologies, and trends in the tech industry
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including engaging with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Strong teamwork abilities, with a proactive mindset and the ability to execute tasks efficiently and independently.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and adapt to changing business needs in a collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems, processes, plans, and programs.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to analyze data, track partnership performance, and report on key metrics and KPIs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com, social media marketing, and SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Working with sales team to present recommendations based on product portfolio and service to potential customers and increase project win.
  • Collaborate with cross functional team including application engineers, supply chain, procurement, quality control, and manufacturing, to ensure timely project development.
  • Manage phase-in and phase-out process, including announcements, documentation updates, and database maintenance.
  • Coordinate with quality assurance to address product or project related issues by collaborating with local and HQ quality departments and product team to provide solutions and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Working with marketing team and develop go-to-market strategies matching target market demand to drive business success.
  • Communicate with global counterparts, including teams in Taiwan and China, regarding product and project-related action items.
  • This role may require occasional meetings outside of standard business hours to accommodate international time zones.
