About The Position

As Product Manager - Heavyweight Belt, you will plan, implement, and execute targeted Heavyweight Belt marketing and sales strategies. The candidate must be able to provide a high level of Heavyweight Belt technical support for MRO accounts, OEMs and IBT branch offices. In addition, maintain all facets of Heavyweight Belt products.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years experience/knowledge in Heavyweight Belt products support, marketing, sales and Industrial Distribution.
  • MSHA - minimum surface certification.
  • Must possess safety first attitude and commitment to safe work practices.
  • Excellent, professional communication skills, Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, and demonstrated ability to convey essential information clearly and concisely in both written and verbal formats.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills, including an ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently, with careful attention to detail while meeting deadlines.
  • Occasional overnight business travel required.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • The candidate must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Industrial Rubber Services initiatives with all branch locations.
  • Make joint sales calls to end user, MRO and OEM accounts with branch field sales staff.
  • Conduct training programs, internally & externally, as described in the Annual Operating Plan as required by the Director of Business Development.
  • Product quotations, project proposals, applications and solution selling.
  • Product identification and part number sales.
  • Suggestive product maintenance of Item Numbers and Pricing.
  • Responsible for helping set sales targets, goals and execution of the Industrial Rubber Services operating plan.
  • Engage manufacturing partners with regards to product specifics, problem resolution, and application assistance.
  • Sales and technical support with branches and their customers, including on-site customer surveys, and product recommendations.
  • Promote a positive attitude to IBT co-workers, branches, vendors and customers, while promoting all of IBT’s products and services.
  • Other duties as assigned.
