About The Position

Botpress is building an AI-native customer service platform that helps companies resolve more customer issues, reduce support load, and give human teams the context they need to handle what AI shouldn't. We sell better outcomes: faster resolution, lower cost per conversation, cleaner escalation, better visibility, and support operations that scale without linearly scaling headcount. Botpress already has the technical depth to support complex workflows, integrations, human-in-the-loop escalation, and production-grade AI automation. The next challenge is turning that power into a product experience that customer-facing teams can understand, trust, and adopt quickly. We're looking for a Product Manager, Growth and Product Experience to own the journey from signup to activation, trust, and paid conversion across Botpress.

Requirements

  • Product management experience in B2B SaaS, AI, developer tools, support, workflow automation, or another complex product environment.
  • Strong product sense and UX judgment — able to spot confusing or overly technical product experiences.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift and decisions need to be made without perfect information.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with funnel metrics, activation data, product analytics, and experiments.
  • Comfortable talking directly to customers and turning qualitative insight into product decisions.
  • Technical fluency around modern web products, workflows, APIs, data, or AI systems.
  • Clear written communication, strong documentation habits, and the ability to own outcomes in ambiguity.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a front-end engineer, UX engineer, solutions engineer, technical founder, or technical IC before moving into product.
  • Experience owning onboarding, activation, PLG, conversion, or self-serve growth.
  • Experience with customer support, helpdesk, CX, automation, or AI products.
  • Familiarity with tools like Mixpanel, Linear, and Metabase.
  • Experience with Teresa Torres' "Continuous Discovery" framework.

Responsibilities

  • Own activation, time to value, time to trust, and early conversion across key Botpress product journeys.
  • Write clear, lean product briefs, user stories, hypotheses, and decision docs.
  • Identify where users get confused, hesitate, drop off, or lose confidence during their first product experience.
  • Prioritize and fix "first-session trust debt": small UX/UI issues that hurt confidence, activation, or perceived product maturity.
  • Use product data and direct customer conversations to find growth opportunities and measure impact.
  • Work closely with Design and Engineering to ship fast, practical product improvements.
