We are currently looking for a Product Manager - Enterprise Analytics Platform to join our busy and growing manufacturing facility. Requirements

  • Strong understanding of data products, reporting systems, business intelligence, and dashboarding tools
  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, agile methodologies, and modern product tools
  • Awareness of industry trends in analytics, data platforms, and enterprise software
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skills
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to inform decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to lead without authority and drive alignment across diverse teams

  • Must be able to travel approximately up to 25% of the time
  • Experience with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Aha!)
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel)
  • Understanding of analytics platforms, BI tools, or data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Awareness of cloud data architectures, APIs, and data pipelines
  • Basic understanding of software development lifecycle and version control systems such as Git
  • Knowledge of APIs, web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript fundamentals), or IoT platforms relevant to the product domain
  • College or University degree (BA or Business Degree) in Mechanical Engineering or Business/Marketing
  • Minimum of 4+ years of related experience
  • Technical background, with experience in the natural gas industry, manufacturing, and within a similar role
  • Experience working closely with customers, translating their needs into scalable solutions
  • Proven experience delivering data, analytics, SaaS, or platform-based products in a B2B or enterprise environment
  • Demonstrated experience working closely with customers to develop scalable solutions

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with UX/design tools (e.g., Figma) is an asset
  • Domain experience in utilities, IoT, or industrial systems is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the enterprise analytics platform, including reporting, dashboarding, and data access capabilities
  • Establish a clear direction for how data is collected, modeled, and surfaced to deliver customer and business value
  • Drive alignment across stakeholders on priorities, outcomes, and success metrics
  • Monitor emerging technologies and standards that impact device interoperability, security, and performance
  • Business case development for the core product as well as any additional features
  • Engage directly with enterprise customers to understand reporting needs, workflows, and decision-making processes
  • Identify opportunities to deliver differentiated value through insights, benchmarking, and operational intelligence
  • Translate customer and business requirements into scalable analytics capabilities
  • Own the roadmap for analytics, reporting, and dashboarding features across cloud and application layers
  • Partner with engineering, data, and architecture teams to define data models, pipelines, and visualization frameworks
  • Ensure high-quality, reliable, and accessible data across systems and integrations
  • Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and cloud teams to ensure seamless data flow from device to platform
  • Work closely with UX/design teams to create intuitive, user-friendly analytics experiences
  • Align with sales, marketing, and customer success on positioning, enablement, and adoption
  • Lead lifecycle delivery of analytics features from concept through launch and continuous improvement
  • Prioritize initiatives based on customer impact, business value, and technical feasibility
  • Drive pilot programs and early releases to validate functionality and usability
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations
  • Define and track key product metrics such as platform adoption, report usage, data accuracy, and performance
  • Use data and feedback to continuously refine capabilities and user experience
  • Partner with commercial teams to support successful product launches and adoption
  • Articulate clear value propositions around analytics, insights, and data-driven decision-making
  • Support customer onboarding and enablement for analytics capabilities
  • Lead pilot testing focusing on device reliability, network performance, and user experience
  • Critical thinking with a customer-focused approach
  • Help drive a culture of accountability and cross-functional leadership
  • All other duties or projects as assigned
