About The Position

This role involves transforming a medication delivery app into a product customers return to daily and recommend to others. The Product Manager will design and ship features that support users on their weight loss journey, focusing on social functionality like 'Circles' (private user groups) and owning the 'Freemium' model to drive retention and new user growth. This is a full-time, fully remote role with asynchronous work flexibility, requiring sufficient overlap with European and US time zones. The role reports to the Head of Product and collaborates closely with a product designer and a lean engineering team within the Engagement Pod.

Requirements

  • Clear track record of 0 to 1 product development as a Senior Product Manager.
  • Experience building social, community, and/or growth-focused conversion features.
  • Understanding of user retention and referral mechanics.
  • Fluency in growth mechanics such as freemium conversion, retention curves, and activation funnels.
  • Ability to upskill pod members on growth strategies.
  • Proven ability to take loosely defined, ambiguous problems and drive them end-to-end independently.
  • Strong data fluency, understanding the criticality of accurate data and striving for base truth.
  • Experience defining new metrics or refining existing ones.
  • Ability to conduct independent qualitative and quantitative research.
  • Experience running multiple tests in parallel without becoming overwhelmed.
  • Experience shipping products in weekly sprint cycles.
  • Ability to move fast and get products in front of users quickly for learning.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in regulated or sensitive categories (e.g., health, finance, dating) where users may be hesitant to share.
  • Experience in an early-stage startup environment or experience building a product from scratch.
  • Experience building multi-sided products that create value for different user types simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using AI as a force multiplier for research, analysis, prototyping, and product development.

Responsibilities

  • Own the roadmap for features that transform the app from a delivery utility into a daily-use product.
  • Lead the development of social functionality, including 'Circles' (private user groups), to create a supported and community-driven GLP-1 experience.
  • Build and own the freemium model to attract and convert existing and prospective GLP-1 users into customers.
  • Apply principles of behavioral design, growth loops, and clinical constraints to address the stigma associated with sharing in the GLP-1 category.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to inform product strategy and direction.
  • Collaborate with design and engineering to refine product direction and prove impact against key metrics.
  • Define and own metrics for success, including weekly active users, retention, and freemium-to-customer conversion.
