About The Position

This is a startup-within-a-startup. You'll be the first PM dedicated to Venn's developer and AI security market — a new segment with new buyers, new use cases, and a GTM motion that doesn't fully exist yet. You'll have Venn's proven technology and team behind you, but everything else is yours to define.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in product management, with real 0-to-1 or early-market experience
  • Background at a developer security, DevSecOps, or cloud security company (Snyk, Wiz, GitHub, GitLab, Aqua, Sysdig, or similar)
  • Hands-on developer background — comfortable using the product across Windows/Mac/Linux workflows
  • Track record of genuine customer discovery, not just assumption validation
  • Experience thinking through pricing, packaging, and business model questions
  • Comfort partnering with sales and leadership on GTM, not just handing over a roadmap

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in PLG or product-led sales motions
  • Familiarity with endpoint security, BYOD, zero trust, or AI governance

Responsibilities

  • Own the product strategy for this market: who we're building for, what problems we solve, how we're differentiated
  • Lead market and customer discovery with developers, engineering leaders, and security teams to find real signal
  • Test hypotheses around buyers, pricing, and packaging — iterate fast
  • Build and drive the roadmap, translating customer insight into a prioritized backlog
  • Partner with sales and leadership to shape GTM: positioning, pricing, and the sales motion for a new buyer
  • Define what success looks like and track the signals that tell us the market bet is working
