About The Position

ISS MI is the leading provider of data, insights, and analytics on the firms and people driving the financial services and insurance industries across North America. This position supports the product organization in collecting user feedback, defining the problem statement, writing user stories, demonstrating features, client engagement, customer support, and monitoring usage.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience in a B2B SaaS environment, ideally in product support, implementation, customer success, or a related role close to customers
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Hands-on experience working with web-based applications and understanding how systems, data, and workflows connect
  • Proven ability to break down ambiguous problems into structured requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially when explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Comfort working with engineers and participating in agile product development processes
  • Customer-first mindset with a growing interest in long-term product impact (not just short-term fixes)
  • Passionate about finding analytical solutions to business problems

Nice To Haves

  • Degree concentration or additional coursework in analytical disciplines such as Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Economics, Finance, or similar fields is a plus.
  • Preferred analytical curiosity, meticulous with a strong attention to detail, outstanding interpersonal skills, and ability to read the room
  • Eagerness to learn about industry operating environment and new data/technology concepts

Responsibilities

  • Define business requirements and user stories/tickets
  • Own and manage prioritization of product backlog
  • Manage release cycles and coordinate with internal resources for development, testing, and marketing communications.
  • Partner with development, QA, data operations, and business development to align with business priorities.
  • Define key performance indicators for reliability and usage of the product capabilities
  • Document key decisions to avoid any uncertainties.
  • Evangelize the product features and benefits to enable the sales and account management teams to speak to the value creation
  • Support product managers by supervising the product roadmap execution to deliver scalable and best-in-class capabilities
  • Work cross-functionally with other product teams within and across business units, multiple scrum teams, and different development processes
  • Support the sales team with the sales process to ensure customer success
  • Assist support team with customer product issues
