About The Position

AMD is seeking a Product Manager, CPU AI, to define and drive product strategy for Agentic AI, CPU-based AI inference and AI support workloads. This role will focus on maximizing EPYC revenue for workloads like Agentic AI Sandbox, Retrieval Augmented Generation, Speculative Decode, inference on CPU and other CPU-resident AI workloads by optimizing performance, efficiency, scalability, and deployability of AI systems. This role sits within the Cloud & Enterprise AI product organization, a high impact team responsible for AMD’s CPU and GPU AI roadmap and business results. You will lead cross functional teams with engineering, architecture, software, sales, marketing, and key customers to define CPU AI product requirements, execute customer proof of concepts, translate workload insights into product strategy, and help drive business growth across Cloud and Enterprise business segments.

Requirements

  • Product leader with strong technical depth in AI software, datacenter platforms, and customer-facing execution.
  • Understand how AI workloads are built, deployed, optimized, and scaled.
  • Ability to translate complex software and system-level requirements into product strategy, customer value, and business results.
  • Thrive in highly collaborative environments and comfortable working across engineering, software, architecture, sales, marketing, customers, and partners.
  • Ability to lead technical discussions with customers, drive proof of concept execution, identify business opportunities, and communicate clearly with senior leaders.
  • Product leadership: Define and execute CPU AI product strategy from workload analysis through product requirements, customer validation, and go to market execution.
  • Technical depth: Strong understanding of AI inference, Agentic AI, RAG pipelines, Speculative Decode, vector databases, model serving, orchestration frameworks, and CPU-based performance optimization.
  • Software fluency: Ability to work with software teams on AI frameworks, runtimes, libraries, benchmarking, enablement priorities, and customer deployment requirements.
  • Customer management: Proven ability to engage directly with cloud, enterprise, OEM, and ecosystem customers to understand requirements, manage POCs, and convert technical validation into business outcomes.
  • Business acumen: Ability to size opportunities, assess market trends, evaluate competitive positioning, build business cases, and drive product decisions that improve revenue, share, and profitability.
  • Executive communication: Clear, concise communication with senior leaders, customers, and cross-functional stakeholders, both written and verbal.
  • Execution discipline: Strong ownership mindset with the ability to drive alignment, resolve ambiguity, and deliver results across multiple teams.
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Own product strategy and roadmap for AMD CPU support of AI workloads
  • Define positioning and requirements aligned to customer and market needs.
  • Lead product lifecycle from planning through launch and end of life.
  • Develop and execute go to market strategies, messaging, and launch plans.
  • Partner with marketing on content, campaigns, and analyst engagement.
  • Support key customer engagements, POCs and industry events.
  • Track market trends, customer requirements, and competitive dynamics.
  • Translate insights into actionable product and marketing strategies.
  • Lead and influence cross functional teams across engineering, sales, and marketing.
  • Drive alignment and execution across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Track KPIs, pricing, and profitability.
  • Deliver clear updates to senior leadership on product and market performance.
