Product Manager, AI-Platform

Roger HealthcareSan Francisco, CA
Onsite

About The Position

Roger is an AI platform that aims to free home health clinicians from administrative paperwork, allowing them to concentrate on providing care to elderly patients in their homes. The platform has facilitated millions of patient visits and is utilized by thousands of clinicians. This Product Manager role is critical because Roger's AI platform is central to how clinicians and administrative staff document care, directly influencing their work-life balance. The successful candidate will be deeply involved with clinicians, agency operators, and the engineering team to identify key problems and deliver solutions that create a tangible operational impact. This is a foundational product hire, offering significant ownership over the product's strategic direction and the opportunity to shape product development practices as Roger expands.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of product management experience in an early-stage or high-growth startup environment.
  • Technical background: Whether through engineering, CS, or hands-on experience building with technical teams, you can go deep with engineers and have meaningful conversations about AI/ML systems.
  • First principles thinker: You break problems down to their fundamentals rather than defaulting to how things have been done before.
  • Strong customer instincts: You're in the field, on calls, and in the data constantly because you know you can't build great products from a conference room.
  • Experience owning workflow-heavy or operational products where the details matter.
  • Comfort making tradeoffs with incomplete information and moving fast without sacrificing quality.
  • Clear communicator: You can align a room and write a spec that engineers actually want to read.
  • High ownership mentality and comfort operating in ambiguity.
  • Mission motivated: You care about healthcare and are excited to build products that genuinely change clinicians' lives.

Responsibilities

  • Live in the customer's world: Talk to clinicians and agency leaders every week. Understand their workflows deeply, not abstractly.
  • Own product discovery and direction: Identify the highest-impact problems, translate customer needs into clear specs, and define what success looks like.
  • Partner closely with engineering: Work side by side with engineers to ship high-quality solutions quickly. Stay involved from spec through launch.
  • Work cross-functionally: Collaborate with sales, customer success, and operations to validate priorities and ensure what we ship works in the field.
  • Drive outcomes, not output: Define success metrics, measure real usage, and iterate relentlessly.

  • Platinum health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Flexible PTO
  • Unmatched career growth opportunity as our founding product hire
