About The Position

This individual will be responsible for accessibility quality assurance for key strategic initiatives within the product team. He / she will perform automated and manual testing to ensure our native and web experiences are accessible for customers with disabilities, and conform to WCAG standards. This individual will test experiences, file tickets that clearly explain the issue, define the requirements and recommendations for the solve and work with x-functional partners to ensure the bugs are fixed and validated in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Experienced accessibility tester / QE with previous experience in native and web testing to WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
• Proficient in assistive technology and platforms.
• Versed in Talkback and Voice Over for Android and IOS.
• Proficient with JAWS and NVDA screen readers for PC and Voice Over for Mac.
• Familiar with ZoomText / magnification features.
• Understanding of multimedia requirements, such as captioning and audio description.
• Ability to test using keyboard navigation.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform automated and manual testing to ensure native and web experiences are accessible for customers with disabilities and conform to WCAG standards.
• Test experiences, file tickets that clearly explain the issue, define the requirements and recommendations for the solve.
• Work with x-functional partners to ensure bugs are fixed and validated in a timely manner.
• Test using screen readers, keyboard navigation, and other assistive technology features including captioning, zoom and contrast.
• Document bugs, to WCAG 2.1 AA standards, with video clips and written documentation, and provide a clear path to remediation.
• Partner with developers to ensure timely, quality solves are implemented.
