Product Manager 1 - Supply Chain: Inbound/Warehouse & Fulfillment Operations (Hybrid, Seattle)
About The Position
The Supply Chain Product Management team at Nordstrom is seeking a Product Manager 1 to lead the technology and processes for inbound warehouse and fulfillment operations, including receiving, item preparation, quality audits, and putaway. This role offers an opportunity for a Product Manager to contribute to product strategy within a defined scope while developing skills in data-driven decision-making and cross-functional collaboration. The Product Manager will partner with engineering, business stakeholders, and their squad to optimize the product that ensures efficient movement of goods through the supply chain.
Requirements
- Comfort with ambiguity and a curiosity for discovery work on new technology implementations
- Genuine interest in growing your supply chain and inventory product management skills
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field — or equivalent experience
- Background in supply chain, warehouse, or fulfillment operations
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Experience presenting technical solutions or business cases in a matrixed organization
Responsibilities
- Contribute to product planning and prioritization for your product area, maintaining a roadmap and feature backlog grounded in clear rationale
- Write user stories and acceptance criteria, and help shape testing strategy alongside engineering
- Partner with engineering and business teams to balance customer value, technical effort, and risk
- Define a measurement plan for your product and adjust based on what you learn
- Engage in collaborative innovation discussions within your squad, and help enrich your product's definition over time
- Support incident triage, escalation, and resolution
- Develop collateral to introduce and evangelize your product, and help communicate its impact across the business
