About The Position

This internship focuses on Product Management within the Components & Connectors business unit of Bosch's Mobility Solutions division. The intern will collaborate with a Product Manager to manage all aspects of a product line, analyze data to identify trends and extract meaning, and research industry and competitor information to enhance the product line. Responsibilities include supporting portfolio management by comparing product costs and prices, performing plausibility analyses of production and sales data, and assisting with the coordination of acquisition processes and business case calculations with local and international teams. The Product Manager role at Bosch is crucial for representing the customer and market internally, ensuring products meet targets for performance, regulation, cost, and quality, and driving business growth. This involves defining product strategy and roadmaps, translating market needs into requirements, and overseeing product development and lifecycle execution.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited program within Engineering (Automotive, Electrical or Mechanical), Business or Marketing
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA required
  • Proficient MS office (Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent Excel skills are required.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Hardworking and enthusiastic personality.
  • Strong teamwork and collaborative skills.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Power BI is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product Manager to help manage all aspects of a product line.
  • Analyze and combine data from different sources to extract meaning, trends and useful information through tables and graphics.
  • Analyze industry and competitor information for opportunities to enhance the product line.
  • Support the portfolio management with comparison of different products costs and prices.
  • Plausibility analysis of production and sales data.
  • Collaborate with local and international team on the coordination of acquisition process and business case calculations.
