About The Position

This position is responsible for product coordination between sales, ports of entry, and production areas for DM's Core Products. It coordinates inventory management of North America ports for the commodity and supports the sales team in their day-to-day sales/tasks to keep the business aligned to sales quotas. The role consolidates the sales forecast and establishes the demand plan weekly to submit to production. It also manages data entry and reporting for the category and conducts multiple weekly touchpoints to provide sales, upper management, and production team updates and support.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in related Supply Chain, Business or International Commerce from an accredited institution, and/or equivalent work experience.
At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Some knowledge of produce industry and agricultural background.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook).
Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
Good organizational, analytical, critical thinking, and leadership skills.
Must be detail-oriented, and able to multi-task.
Ability to solve complex problems and manage conflict.
Bilingual: English and Spanish.

Nice To Haves

Supply Chain experience.
Working experience in the Produce industry.
Experience in fast-paced, high-stress environments is a plus.
Understanding of import procedures and quality control practices.
Knowledge of Produce Pro.

Responsibilities

Send daily inventory reports
Oversee tracking of inventory and carryover
Develop ways to mitigate shortages of product for daily truck loading
Tracking Nonconformance fruit to find a customer
Assist and fix oversell
Balance oversells between ports
Coordinate between traffic, sales and the ports daily to ensure truck loading operation is moving smoothly
Assist in all other projects assigned
