About The Position

Seamus Golf is seeking a Product Line Manager - Planning & Sourcing to lead product planning, sourcing, forecasting, inventory strategy, costing, and vendor relationships across wholesale and e-commerce channels. This position determines what products are made, when they are produced, who produces them, and at what cost. The Product Line Manager is responsible for maintaining the product calendar, evaluating product concepts, managing SKU-level planning, approving product costs, and ensuring new ideas are commercially viable, operationally feasible, and aligned with the Seamus Golf brand. This role also provides cross-functional leadership throughout the product lifecycle by establishing clear deliverables, ownership, and timelines. Requirements

  • Four to six years of relevant experience in product line management, product planning, sourcing, or a related area is required.
  • Knowledge of product planning, demand forecasting, inventory management, costing, and margin analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of product planning, sourcing, production, inventory management, and the product lifecycle.
  • Ability to analyze demand, sales, costs, margins, and inventory data to make informed decisions.
  • Strong vendor-management and negotiation skills across domestic and international partners.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, establish clear timelines, and hold cross-functional teams accountable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, project management systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, work independently, supervise others, and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Owns the product creation calendar and lifecycle tracker, setting timelines, milestones, and owners so every active product's stage, status, and next steps are visible across teams.
  • Serves as project owner across the lifecycle, coordinating design, development, production, and sales to launch on time and within cost.
  • Runs weekly cross-functional status meetings to catch timeline slippage early and evaluates requests for exceptions on their business merit.
  • Forecasts demand and maintain SKU-level plans across wholesale and e-commerce channels.
  • Builds production and inventory plans based on forecasts, margin goals, capacity, and material availability, balancing core production with custom and special orders.
  • Monitors inventory, sell-through, and replenishment, and partners with sales and e-commerce on actions to improve inventory movement.
  • Reviews, approves, and challenges product costing to protect margin before production.
  • Administers the product concept intake process, prioritizing opportunities by business value, operational feasibility, and strategic fit.
  • Partners with sales and e-commerce to identify product gaps and assortment needs and develops product briefs and business cases for new concepts.
  • Works with manufacturing partners to confirm feasibility and ensures concepts are refined and market-ready before they move to costing and production.
  • Manages seasonal assortment and wholesale replenishment, applying SKU rationalization to balance innovation with a disciplined portfolio.
  • Develops domestic and international sourcing strategies, and leads vendor evaluation, selection, and onboarding with Product Development.
  • Negotiates pricing and commercial terms with suppliers and manufacturers and maintains strategic vendor relationships.
  • May take on Hand Forged ordering and forecasting as operational needs evolve.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
