About The Position

The Product Lifecycle Manager is involved in multiple aspects of our hardware product launch including cross functional planning, transition and product end of life. Working closely with product management, sales, program management, operations, sales operations, product marketing and creative, this role manages model and SKU level details within GoPro’s systems as well as tracking and execution across these functions on our product plans, launch plans and dependencies.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience in consumer electronics or related field
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Highly proficient in spreadsheet analysis and data visualization, presentation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to work cross functionally
  • Excellent organization skills and strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and able to shift gears as priorities change

Responsibilities

  • Translate product roadmap into the master product list documenting launch dates, regional SKUs, end of life, compatibility and transition plan details
  • Create and input all SKU item numbers, set up information, and lifecycle phase in GoPro systems aligned with the product roadmap; ensure all systems information on products are updated and accurate
  • Define and track cross-functional launch schedules for accessories and lifestyle products, highlight issues and plan risk mitigation with respective teams
  • Manage camera bundles and related special projects by hosting cross-functional meetings, planning and execution
  • Define and track localized SKUs based on regulatory schedules and regional requirements
  • Conduct sell-through analysis and summary for product lines
  • Identify, define and execute process improvement opportunities for the product operations team
