About The Position

Forage is seeking an action-oriented Product Lead to develop and execute a strategy and roadmap for financial products aimed at improving the financial lives of low-income Americans. Forage is a leading payment processor for regulated payments, starting with EBT payments, and is an official partner to major retailers and delivery platforms. The company is expanding its offerings with a consumer app and complementary tools to address affordability. The Product Lead will focus on empowering users to earn, save, and spend money through features like digitizing savings, earning supplementary income, and building credit. This role involves close collaboration with engineering, design, data science, and other teams to deliver, market, and iterate on products. As an early product leader, this individual will also contribute to setting the cultural and product team direction at a company focused on financial inclusion and access to nutrition.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager and/or founder with demonstrable impact from working on B2B2C or B2B products in fintech, ecommerce, or a related complex domain.
  • Proven ability to ship impactful features that improved consumer acquisition, activation, and retention from 0 to 1 and/or in driving significant scale-ups, with user insights and data to support.
  • Experience leading product discovery and experimentation, including direct engagement with consumers and external vendors and B2B partners, with an understanding of unit economics.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills; ability to translate complex ideas into simple concepts for diverse audiences, adapting messaging for stakeholders from consumers to credit card issuers to grocery retailers.

Responsibilities

  • Shape strategy and roadmap to grow Forage users’ purchasing power by defining, prioritizing, launching, and improving features that make Forage’s consumer financial products intuitive, powerful, and delightful to use.
  • Understand users and opportunities through user research, product analytics, and synthesis of qualitative and quantitative evidence to inform product iteration.
  • Drive growth, engagement, and profitability by partnering with marketing, design, data science, and finance to optimize onboarding, integration, and activation, ensuring product initiatives create durable financial value.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, legal, and security to deliver growth while maintaining reliability, trust, and compliance. Build strategic relationships with external partners, including large retailers and delivery platforms.
  • Measure what matters by rallying the team around ambitious, measurable success metrics to evaluate product performance and inform prioritization.
  • Shape company and team culture by helping define how Forage builds empathetic, user-driven products rooted in mission and impact as an early PM and leader.
