About The Position

Outmarket is seeking a Product Lead - Data to take ownership of a critical part of their AI-powered platform, focusing on systems that transform fragmented, unstructured inputs into clean, actionable data. This role requires a hands-on approach, operating at the intersection of product, data systems, AI workflows, and customer value. The Product Lead will define the roadmap for data ingestion, enrichment, and workflow intelligence in close collaboration with engineering, AI, and customer-facing teams. This is an opportunity to work directly with founders and an experienced engineering team, shape a category-defining system of intelligence in a large industry, and lead a product area with significant customer impact and fast feedback loops.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in data platforms, ingestion pipelines, or B2B SaaS.
  • Strong understanding of ETL, APIs, OCR, and structured versus unstructured data challenges.
  • Track record of building data infrastructure products or platform-level capabilities.
  • Ability to translate messy business needs into clear product requirements and workflows.
  • Comfort working hands-on with engineers and customers to prototype, test, and improve solutions.
  • Strong prioritization skills and comfort in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong judgment about where data quality, workflow design, and product usability intersect.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in insurance technology, fintech, or enterprise data platforms.
  • Familiarity with data mapping, entity resolution, enrichment models, or schema design.
  • Exposure to AI-assisted data extraction or LLM-driven document processing.

Responsibilities

  • Own the roadmap for data ingestion, enrichment, and pipeline products.
  • Define how Outmarket captures and processes data across formats such as PDFs, portals, APIs, spreadsheets, and emails.
  • Partner with AI and engineering teams to design scalable workflows for cleaning, validating, and mapping incoming data.
  • Drive integration strategy with carriers, rating engines, AMS platforms, and submission portals.
  • Work closely with customer-facing teams to understand pain points and remove blockers to adoption.
  • Prioritize aggressively, test rapidly, and ship improvements on a frequent cadence.
  • Help define the product and operating model for one of the most technically important parts of the business.
