Product Lead, Core Product

ForusNew York, NY

About The Position

Forus is building an AI-powered network that connects doctors, pharmacies, payers, and biopharma to accelerate new science to patients. Our platform automates the complexity between a doctor prescribing a medicine and a patient starting treatment, including insurance coverage, financial assistance, and supply chain navigation. We provide this support free to doctors and patients, helping them get life-changing medicine faster, cheaper, and easier. The resulting network enables biopharma companies to design better research, launch new drugs more effectively, and invest in harder-to-treat conditions. Forus has exceptional product-market fit and is growing rapidly through organic adoption. As the Core Product Lead on our team, you will own the end-to-end experience for the providers and patients who use our platform. Your goal will be to make Forus feel deeply tailored to how each practice works while building a product that can scale across thousands of providers, different specialties, and increasingly complex organizations. Your goal will be to ensure our product and network grows exponentially through user love and word-of-mouth. You will develop a detailed understanding of what users are experiencing—both across the network and at the level of individual practices, workflows, and interactions. You will build direct relationships with providers and patients, establish tight quantitative and qualitative feedback loops, and make users feel like active partners in developing the product. You will translate that understanding into a clear product direction and ship improvements at an unusually fast cadence, with a high bar for usability, craft, and operational reliability. This is a demanding role, with a high level of autonomy and responsibility. You will be expected to “act like an owner” and commit yourself to Forus' success. If you are low-ego, hungry to learn, and excited about intense, impactful work that drives both company growth and accelerated career progression, we want to hear from you.

Requirements

  • Unyielding commitment to understanding user needs and what really matters to inform your work
  • Strong product sense, design taste, and copy instincts — you can shape flows, interfaces, and language that convert and resonate
  • Analytical instincts and the technical ability to investigate product behavior directly using SQL, Python, or similar tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication that allows you to be an effective participant in both internal debates and external relationships
  • Track record of moving quickly, finding shortcuts, and going to unreasonable lengths to deliver on goals
  • High NPS with your former teammates
