About The Position

We’re hiring a Product Lead, Consumer (Core Engagement) to own and evolve the foundational engagement layer of Nourish’s patient experience. This role is responsible for how patients log, build habits, and stay consistently engaged day to day. The focus is on the input layer: logging accuracy, speed, habit formation, and short-term goals that drive retention and enable meaningful downstream outcomes. You will own the core mechanics that make Nourish sticky, from meal, hydration, and exercise logging to AI-enabled nudges, insights, and personalization embedded directly in the engagement experience. This role builds the systems and feedback loops that help patients take consistent action and generate high-quality signals across the platform. This role is full-time and open to NYC-based candidates only (expectation to work in-person 3-4 days per week, with some remote flexibility). Our office is in the heart of Flatiron.

Requirements

  • You have 5+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years building consumer-facing mobile products.
  • You have 2+ years at smaller-stage startups (seed to Series B, under 200 employees at the time).
  • You’ve shipped engagement-heavy or habit-forming products and driven measurable improvements in retention or frequency.
  • You’ve worked on AI-enabled consumer features such as personalization, nudges, recommendations, or intelligent workflows.
  • You are analytical and data-oriented, comfortable defining metrics and using data to guide decisions.
  • You are a hands-on builder who can take ambiguous problems from 0 to 1 and iterate quickly.
  • You care deeply about product craft, especially in high-frequency, daily-use experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Own the roadmap, prioritization, and execution for core engagement features, including logging, habit tracking, and short-term goal systems.
  • Improve logging accuracy, speed, and flexibility across meal, hydration, and exercise tracking, including new input methods such as voice, integrations, and more.
  • Design and ship AI-enabled engagement experiences, including AI resources (generate recipes, meal plans, grocery list), contextual nudges, and lightweight insights tied directly to user actions and logs.
  • Build and iterate on habit loops that increase daily and weekly engagement while minimizing friction.
  • Define and track success metrics such as logging frequency, logging accuracy proxies, D7 and D28 retention, and feature adoption.
  • Run discovery, user research, and rapid experiments to identify engagement friction and validate solutions.
  • Partner closely with design, engineering, data, and adjacent Consumer product teams to ensure a cohesive end-to-end patient experience.
