About The Position

As a Product Integrity Engineer at Spin Master, a leading global children's toy, entertainment, and digital gaming company, you will be responsible for leading quality, reliability, and safety compliance activities throughout the New Product Introduction (NPI) process. Your primary goal will be to ensure that Spin Master toys meet or exceed worldwide safety, chemical, and performance requirements. Additionally, this position involves monitoring product performance in the field to drive continuous improvements and utilize this data to anticipate and prevent future product issues. Requirements

  • Relevant experience in Quality Engineering for product safety, reliability, and/or integrity.
  • Knowledge of consumer goods regulatory and safety standards.
  • Experience with problem-solving methodologies like FMEA and root cause analysis (CAPA).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with children’s products and toys is preferred.
  • Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, or ASQ certification/training is highly desirable.
  • Experience with one or more of the following is an asset: consumer electronics, chemistry, food safety, plastics, textiles, project management, or mechanical/manufacturing engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all quality, safety, and reliability activities as a core member of NPI project teams.
  • Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and other reviews at the concept stage to drive qualification requirements.
  • Coordinate internal and external testing to ensure products meet all regulatory and customer requirements.
  • Analyze customer returns and complaints, issuing and monitoring corrective actions to address root causes.
  • Ensure packaging labeling specifications are met and maintain technical files in accordance with global standards.
  • Liaise with worldwide regulatory bodies (e.g., CPSC, Health Canada) and stay abreast of changing global regulations and standards.
  • Work closely with cross-functional groups including Design, Marketing, Customer Care, and other divisions domestically and internationally.
