About The Position

State Street Investment Management is seeking a Product Implementation Specialist, Vice President, to join the Product Implementation team within the Chief Operating Officer organization. This hands-on role focuses on operational delivery and launch of new investment products in partnership with Product Innovation, Technology and Operations, Risk, Compliance, strategic partners, and service providers. The role is suited to a strong executor who can coordinate detailed work across complex operating models and progress products from design through launch. The successful candidate will contribute directly to implementation workstreams and solution design. The position is primarily delivery- and execution-focused, operating within established governance and direction set by senior leadership.

Requirements

8–15 years of experience in financial services, with practical experience in investment management product implementation, technology, operations, or change delivery.
Detailed working knowledge of investment fund structures and vehicles, such as mutual funds, trusts, exchange-traded products, alternatives, and interval funds.
Strong expertise in exchange-traded products, including legal and fund structures, creation/redemption workflows, service-provider ecosystems, and regulatory and governance requirements.
Experience contributing to operating model design, process definition, or complex cross-functional initiatives.
Strong project execution skills, with high attention to detail and follow-through.
Clear, structured communication skills and comfort working with stakeholders at varying levels of seniority.
Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed environment while managing multiple workstreams concurrently.
Familiarity with Microsoft Visio for documenting workflows and operating model designs.
Undergraduate degree required.

Exposure to digital assets, tokenization, or technology-enabled product structures.

Responsibilities

Contribute to hands-on delivery of new product implementations, supporting operating model design, readiness assessments, and launch execution.
Assess new product proposals against existing operational, technology, risk, and control capabilities; identify gaps and required actions; and translate findings into recommended implementation timelines.
Support the definition and documentation of end-to-end product operating models, solution blueprints, and process flows, using knowledge of current-state application usage and data flows across the front, middle, and back office.
Coordinate implementation activities across product, technology, operations, risk, compliance, and external service providers.
Track execution milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues, escalating as appropriate to senior team members or management.
Maintain detailed implementation plans and support governance forums and delivery reporting.
Support product launches through testing coordination, documentation readiness, and operational hand-off activities.
Contribute subject-matter expertise on fund structures, vehicles, and lifecycle events, including support for emerging product types such as digital or tokenized structures where relevant.
Identify opportunities to improve implementation processes, templates, and tooling based on execution experience.
