About The Position

Lead the development of technical solutions that adhere to enterprise architectural and technology delivery principles. Provides deep technical leadership and development experience in end to end execution of product team solutions. Partners with business, project management and technology groups to effectively communicate technology decisions and drive business results, ensuring alignment with the organization's Target Operating Model (TOM), technology roadmap and approach, and enterprise architecture/ technologies.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate
  • 10+ years of development and technology delivery experience
  • Agile Delivery Experience preferred
  • Proven expertise in Azure cloud architecture & infrastructure: hands-on experience designing and scaling distributed data platforms using Azure services (ADLS, Data Factory, Event Grid, Functions) for metadata ingestion, organization, and provisioning.
  • Strong experience in Data Management & Metadata Platforms: deep knowledge of Collibra, metadata catalogs, and Data Marketplace tooling, including classification, lineage, enrichment, access governance, and metadata-driven control models.
  • Metadata-driven and AI-ready data ecosystem design: ability to design semantic layers, lineage capture, quality scoring, and structures that enable advanced analytics, AI insights, and intelligent automation.
  • Alignment to data governance, privacy, and risk frameworks: translating regulatory and second-line requirements into practical technical controls with auditable outcomes.
  • Experience with event-driven and policy-based architectures: leveraging telemetry, triggers, and lineage-aware orchestration to enable real-time metadata management and resilience.
  • Strong integration capabilities: connecting metadata platforms with enterprise catalogs, workflow engines, identity services, and policy-as-code frameworks for end-to-end governance automation.
  • Engineering leadership and cross-functional delivery: leading platform, data, security, and governance teams with a focus on reliability, scalability, and automation-first delivery.
  • Operational intelligence and observability: building dashboards and telemetry for metadata completeness, control coverage, data exposure, and provisioning SLAs.
  • Stakeholder engagement and alignment: strong collaboration with Cyber, Privacy, Records, Data Owners, and domain leaders to drive adoption, governance alignment, and solution convergence.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with partners and stakeholders to ensure technical solutions meet technical direction, requirements, budget, scalability and architectural goals, ensuring all risks and impacts are considered
  • Leverage deep technology expertise to support in the creation and delivery of end-to-end technical solutions and help to support driving business outcomes
  • Participate in business planning discussions and define the technology delivery approach, and leverage synergies across the various teams and applications
  • Act as lead expert to ensure compliance with enterprise and segment standards (e.g. TOM; enterprise assets)
  • Monitor and manage incident escalation process; work with project managers and business partners as needed to efficiently and effectively resolve
  • Identify and implement opportunities to minimize and reduce costs in collaboration with TAO; identify appropriate solutions and support the deployment of innovative product and software solutions
  • Collaborate with partners and project teams on software quality assurance reviews
  • Drive and execute on target state and roadmap-based investments
  • Execute on strategic solution planning activities or POC
  • Work with partners across Technology and apply deep understanding of relevant business needs to identify and leverage synergies across the various areas and projects
  • Manage resource requirements and assignment, ensuring project milestones are met and monitoring to keep projects on schedule and within budget
  • Oversee business expenses and FTE plans and ensure controls in place to monitor, effectively track and manage to established plans
  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of external development, technology and emerging solutions, market conditions and their impact
  • Proactively identify emerging technologies and innovative solutions for building more robust platform domains
  • Interact with governance and control groups, (e.g. regulatory and operational risk, compliance and audit) to provide subject matter expertise and consult on risk issues / items relating to technology and tools
  • Protect the interests of the organization – identify and manage risks, and escalate non-standard, high risk transactions / activities as necessary
  • Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite
  • Participate fully as a member of the team, support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interest
  • Provide thought leadership and/ or industry knowledge for quality engineering best practices and participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business unit; may take on the role of Chapter Lead as applicable
  • Keep current on emerging trends/ developments and grow knowledge of the business, related tools and techniques
  • Participate in personal performance management and development activities, including cross training within own team
  • Keep others informed and up-to-date about the status / progress of projects and / or all relevant or useful information related to day-to-day activities
  • Contribute to team development of skills and capabilities through mentorship of others, by sharing knowledge and experiences and leveraging quality engineering best practices.
