Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years of experience with a Master's degree, or 0 years of experience with a PhD.
  • Proficiency in at least one of the following areas through coursework or professional experience: Semiconductor device physics. Digital or analog circuit design and validation. Defect detection or fault isolation methodologies in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute failure analysis strategies to investigate and resolve process, product, and technology failures.
  • Conduct laboratory work to evaluate electrical and mechanical characteristics of integrated circuits, components, and systems.
  • Investigate interactions between materials and devices to identify root causes of failures.
  • Develop and implement electrical, analytical, and mechanical methodologies to enhance failure analysis capabilities for future products.
  • Lead technology and/or product transfers, manufacturing startups, and failure analysis process improvements.
  • Analyze failure reports and provide recommendations for corrective actions to prevent issue recurrence.
  • Share learnings across sites and promote best practices to enhance organizational knowledge.
