About The Position
Ensure optimum use of standardized solutions in all product development processes for all business unit clients.
Requirements
- U.S. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Industrial Engineering.
- Two (2) years’ experience designing or defining mechanical drawings and tooling, equipment and machinery build requirements and processes; assuring transmission plant installation of tooling, equipment, and machinery; and prototype part authentication.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the design, development, and optimization of automotive systems, particularly focusing on rear-view systems for original equipment manufacturers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop automotive components and systems ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of automotive systems to ensure performance, reliability, and durability.
- Implement quality control measures and participate in root cause analysis to address any issues in product performance or manufacturing processes.
- Create engineering specifications or cost estimates for automotive design ideas.
