About The Position

We're looking for a Product Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you'll help bring new products from concept through production while working closely with manufacturing, quality, tooling, automation, and customers. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent engineering graduate or someone with up to two years of experience who wants to build a career in plastics manufacturing and product development. You'll gain hands on experience managing engineering projects, supporting new product launches, improving manufacturing processes, and collaborating with cross functional teams in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • 0 to 2 years of engineering experience.
  • Experience with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with plastics injection molding.
  • Experience in a medical device or ISO regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.

Responsibilities

  • Support new product introductions from design through production launch.
  • Coordinate engineering projects to ensure timelines and customer expectations are met.
  • Develop qualification protocols for new and existing products.
  • Manage tooling activities and engineering changes throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Create and update SolidWorks models and support tooling design changes.
  • Assist with Bills of Materials (BOMs) and engineering documentation.
  • Work with manufacturing, quality, automation, and process engineering teams to improve product performance.
  • Investigate manufacturing issues and recommend solutions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma principles.
  • Participate in CAPA activities and quality improvement projects.
  • Provide technical support to customers throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Assist with quoting activities for new and existing products.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO quality standards and internal procedures.
