About The Position

The Engineer will provide technical support to production to overcome daily challenges. Engineers will also use procedures and instructions to initiate the analysis process when product failure occurs. Investigations and research for root causes with analysis documented, recorded, and communicated internally and provide solution. Engineer may contact Client Company for any quality escalations. Responsible for first level failure analysis on Customer Products. Team Leadership Responsible for maintaining a positive work environment while supporting the companys culture. Responsible for fostering a healthy and safe work environment, focusing on the well-being of all associates. Maintains and strengthens internal, external customer, and supplier relationships. Communicates and works well with all business partners. Ensures inventory management and merchandise allocation flows product through the warehouse in the most cost efficient and productive manner.

Requirements

  • Minimum Associate degree in product design, mechanical, electronic or computer engineering with little experience or 3+ years of equivalent experience as FA engineer for computing devices.
  • Hands on Experience in hardware assembly and disassembly on computing devices.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong Office suite knowledge (excel, word etc.).
  • Moderate knowledge of UEFI, WINPE, CMD, Batch files, SDK, ADK, Configuration files such as ini.
  • Effectively communicate concepts and solutions with various levels of the organization.
  • Effectively liaison between Company and Client.
  • Must be able to work cross-functionally with minimal supervision.
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills.
  • Flexibility to work overtime for special projects or business supports.

Responsibilities

  • Use procedures and instructions to initiate the analysis process when product failure occurs.
  • Conduct investigations and research for root causes with analysis documented, recorded, and communicated internally and provide solution.
  • Contact Client Company for any quality escalations.
  • Perform first level failure analysis on Customer Products.
  • Have appropriate knowledge with the various systems including but not limited to Windows, Android, CMD and Linux tools, and procedures used in Production for Repair and failure analysis.
  • Help Team to set up repair line including Tools and ESD grounding.
  • Identify optimum analytical approaches critical to problems.
  • Communicate with local and overseas team via emails and conference calls.
  • Prepare parts and components for Factory team second level failure analysis.
  • Work inside customer lab.
  • Other duties as assigned.
