Position Summary The Product Engineer is responsible for the successful introduction, setup, and continuous improvement of products within the manufacturing environment. This role serves as the bridge between Engineering, Operations, Production Planning, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure products are accurately defined, efficiently manufactured, and properly maintained within the ERP system. The Product Engineer owns the creation and maintenance of Bills of Material (BOMs), manufacturing routings, labor standards, and production documentation. Working closely with supervisors and department leaders, this position develops manufacturing methods, validates production estimates, and drives continuous improvement in productivity, quality, and cost.
