About The Position
BJAK is seeking product managers to own product areas within its AI Neobank. This role is designed for individuals who can understand user needs, define product direction, collaborate with engineering and design teams, launch products quickly, and continuously improve them post-release. The company, founded in 2019, initially built the leading mobile-first insurance platform in Southeast Asia and is now expanding to help people with spending, saving, investing, exchanging, and traveling. BJAK has a diverse global team and seeks passionate individuals dedicated to building next-generation financial products that redefine accessibility.
Requirements
- Experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, founder, growth/product operator, or similar role.
- Strong product sense and ability to simplify complex workflows.
- Ability to work with engineers and designers to ship real products.
- Comfort with metrics, user feedback, experiments, and post-launch learning.
- Strong writing, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.
- High ownership and ability to drive work with limited guidance.
- Strong English communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in fintech, insurance, payments, consumer apps, or high-growth products is a strong advantage.
- Starts from user problems, not feature lists.
- Can make decisions with incomplete information.
- Knows how to ship quickly and learn after launch.
- Works well with engineering without hiding behind process.
- Honest about what changed because of their work versus wider team effort.
Responsibilities
- Own product areas across insurance, payments, savings, investing, travel, or other financial services.
- Define user problems, product scope, success metrics, roadmap, and launch plans.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, data, operations, compliance, and business teams.
- Transform complex financial products into simple, usable customer journeys.
- Utilize data, feedback, research, and production issues to inform product decisions.
- Launch features, monitor performance, and drive iterations.
- Make trade-offs between speed, user experience, business impact, compliance, and operational complexity.
