About The Position

Dynacraft, a PACCAR Company, is seeking an energetic and creative Product Engineer to support current and future product lines. This role is responsible for maintaining business in support of Dynacraft goals and objectives, coordinating efforts across several business disciplines, and improving product and service offerings. Success in this position requires the ability to develop and maintain excellent customer relationships, demonstrate strong leadership and project management skills, and be proactive in leading quality improvements with a focus on fact-based decision making. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in making lasting improvements and experience in manufacturing.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of engineering experience in an industry related role is required.
  • Thorough knowledge and experience with Creo / Windchill
  • Excellent Teamwork Philosophy; including written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience creating bills of materials for the introduction of modern designs.
  • Experience coordinating prototyping of parts.
  • Experience specifying testing and evaluation of results.
  • Experience coordinating supplier activities and directing production pilot activities.
  • Product development & program management experience
  • Outstanding organizational, planning, and tracking skills.
  • Attention to detail with a “big picture” focus.
  • Wiliness to learn and make use of new engineering processes & techniques to solve complex technical problems.

Responsibilities

  • Provides technical support to customers engineers for Dynacraft products.
  • Model designs for both customers and Dynacraft proprietary products.
  • Develop and maintain assembly drawings on truck related components.
  • Develop bills of material, labor estimates and product cost estimates
  • Conduct product qualification testing and prepare test schedules, and reports.
  • Resolve issues related to quality or manufacturing.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to find the best performing products while reducing costs.
  • Additional duties as assigned
