About The Position

At ABB, we help industries run leaner and cleaner. In this role, you will provide technical assistance for all engineering activities in assignments. Each day, you will ensure that activities related to all engineering disciplines within the project are executed in an efficient and cost-effective manner. You will work closely with the Product Engineer, Product Manager, Global Manufacturing and Agile team, providing the best solution for customer satisfaction in terms of response, delivery time, and product performance.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineer or similar
• Positive and proactive mindset, collaborative, clear in communication and result oriented personality that enjoy solving problems
• Fluency in English
• Knowledge of standard tools like SAP, Windchill, MS Office

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge and experience with ABB Smart Power product families are a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop & Maintenance of the product configurator, defining configuration and roles needed according to the design specifications
• Supervise and maintain the MM status for all the active parts, making sure that all the engineering parameters are correct.
• Provide assistance with production order BOM when changes are needed
• Support IT for the development & maintenance of SAP transactions and external tools needed for the product engineering activities
• Creation and maintenance of ABB global PN (1SDA and EAN numbers)
• Configuration Engineering change management
• Supporting laser marking activities from a system standpoint (ZLASER)
