About The Position

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is searching for the best talent for a Product Director, Immunology Lifecycle Marketing located in Horsham, PA or Titusville, NJ. Our Immunology team leads in the development of transformational medicines for immunological disorders and illnesses. The Product Director, Immunology Lifecycle Marketing has a critical role leading all brand marketing activities for multiple Immunology brands. This role will report to the Group Product Director of Immunology Lifecycle Marketing. The Product Director will be responsible for building a comprehensive marketing strategy designed for patients to start and stay on J&J therapies. This will require evolving and communicating value propositions for multiple stakeholders across channels. Additionally, this role will lead the development of innovative marketing strategies to maintain product access and preserve patient continuity. The Product Director will work closely with multiple functions including Marketing, Strategic Customer Group, Strategic Insights & Analytics, Field sales teams, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Legal, and outside vendors to effectively develop strategies and implement key commercial activities.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience, preferably with demonstrated professional growth in marketing, market access, or account management.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop brand strategies and action plans based on customer and market insights.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix and unstructured environment and ability to activate cross-functional teams to deliver on business objectives.
  • The candidate must be an innovator, proactive, strong analytically and resilient with excellent overall comprehension of the value drivers of Immunology and our customers.
  • Must be capable of leading and prioritizing multiple commitments.
  • Ability to work 3 days a week in Horsham, PA or Titusville, NJ office and travel domestically up to 15% travel.

Nice To Haves

  • BA/BS required; an MBA preferred.
  • Progressive experience in the pharmaceutical industry with proven performance in marketing, market access, and/or account management functions.
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical brand management and medical benefit/buy-and-bill products.
  • Experience with access, payer, and policy dynamics in the Immunology market.
  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills and experience with engaging Senior Management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead comprehensive brand strategy and marketing activities (professional promotion, market access, and customer experience) for two medical benefit Immunology brands.
  • Lead and develop innovative direct-to-consumer and patient education initiatives to support the continued growth of a medical benefit product across multiple indications.
  • Lead and effectively manage external creative marketing agencies to develop, update, and maintain brand resources in a dynamic competitive market.
  • Evolve pricing and contracting strategies for multiple products in close collaboration with the Value, Access, and Pricing (VAP) team to preserve Gross-to-Net (GTN).
  • Evolve market access strategies in close collaboration with VAP and Strategic Account Management teams to maintain patient access to multiple therapies.
  • Collaborate with multiple field sales, channel, and Strategic Customer Group teams by providing updated messaging, tools and resources to support brand value propositions in an evolving competitive landscape.
  • Generate insights through use of secondary data, market research, voice of customer and field engagement. These insights will then translate to strategy development which will include, but not be limited to, value positioning, digital brand presence, access and pricing strategies, and innovative partnerships.
  • Track and monitor competitive activities and regulatory submissions to develop organizational perspective on future competitive landscape.
  • Work within regulatory guidelines to achieve goals.
  • Engage senior leadership team to secure alignment to position the portfolio for short-term and long-term success.
