Product Development Specialist

TaxHawk Inc•Provo, UT

About The Position

Tax Product Development Specialists (PDS) turn complex tax rules into clear product requirements that help TaxHawk customers file accurate returns. The role blends tax research, product design, quality assurance, project management, and close partnership with software developers. It is not primarily a programming role, but comfort with logic and technical systems is valuable. There is no single degree path for the role; backgrounds in accounting, finance, information systems, statistics, math, and economics (among others) can all be helpful. Successful PDS are curious, detail-oriented self-starters who enjoy solving new problems. Because our work follows the annual tax cycle, responsibilities shift throughout the year, from researching law and planning changes to testing, launch readiness, and ongoing product improvement.
