Product Development & optimization Intern Summer - 2027
About The Position
This position is with our Adhesive Technologies business unit – where we empower our people to transform industries and provide our customers with a competitive advantage through adhesives, sealants and functional coatings. As a Product Development & Optimization Intern for our brand Technomelt, you will gain hands-on experience creating product formulations in a lab environment, participate in lab-scale batch making processes for packaging, labeling, and hygiene adhesive applications, and conduct specific application testing to evaluate product performance and quality. You will learn the full product formulation life cycle - from lab development to production and market launch, develop an understanding of SAP systems and learn how to interpret and analyze formulation and production data, and contribute insights that support strategic decision-making based on technical and market knowledge.
Requirements
- An undergraduate student graduating in 2027, 2028 or 2029 pursuing a degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Material Science Engineering
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong ability to interpret technical and performance data and recommend actionable next steps
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and brainstorming skills to support innovation and problem-solving
Responsibilities
