About The Position

The Product Development Manager - Temp is responsible for overseeing the seasonal product development process from the initial concept, working closely with design and manage the timely receipt of showroom samples, calendar management and brainstorming solutions on sampling concerns. This role connects all departments (design, sales, production and sourcing) to ensure deadlines are met. This position supports the Wholesale Legwear business. The responsibilities described below are considered essential functions of the role. This position is based in our NYC office and requires working on-site.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong Communication
  • Calendar Discipline
  • Costing, Solution Oriented
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • Airtable or equivalent program experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage PD Allocation
  • Initial Development Costing
  • SRS Manager
  • Calendar Management
  • Prioritizing multiple departments for critical development deadlines
  • Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines with support and resources as needed
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
  • Manage product development timeline and receipt of SRS samples
  • Ensuring we have the right allocations for the product
  • Review initial development costing while ensuring we meet our margin targets
