About The Position

The Product Development Manager supports the development of new product lines, including single-family homes, duplexes, townhomes, and condos, from land acquisition through construction. This role contributes to the product development of various housing types and supports the full development cycle, from land acquisition to model merchandising and improvement of existing products. The manager will coordinate with design professionals to create construction documents for bidding and permitting, review drawings, perform quality control and redlining, and communicate construction document requirements effectively. Additionally, the role provides construction process support to field managers to ensure quality and efficiency.

Requirements

Strong communication skills for collaboration with management and field teams.
Detail-oriented with skills in quality control, drawing review, and coordination.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Bachelor's degree in a related field or high school diploma with relevant experience.
5+ years of experience in production home building, either with an architectural firm or a builder’s product development/architecture department.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
