About The Position

KLA is seeking a Product Development Engineer to support the development, integration, and qualification of advanced e-beam systems. This role requires strong technical depth in electronics combined with software development and system-level problem solving. The position supports hands-on hardware validation, test stand development, and cross-discipline integration.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
Solid foundation in electronics and electrical systems
Experience developing software for hardware control or test (e.g., Python, C/C++, MATLAB)
Experience with hardware/software integration and system-level debugging
Ability to work independently on moderately complex technical problems

Nice To Haves

Experience with high voltage systems, mixed-signal electronics, or FPGA-based designs
Experience developing or supporting test stands or lab automation
Experience in semiconductor equipment, inspection, or advanced instrumentation environments

Responsibilities

Develop and support electronics and software for e-beam test stands and column systems
Work with high voltage electronics, FPGA-based hardware, and related interfaces
Develop and maintain software for hardware control, diagnostics, automation, and data acquisition
Perform system-level debugging and root cause analysis across hardware and software boundaries
Support integration, characterization, and qualification of new and existing hardware
Collaborate with electrical, software, systems, and integration engineering teams
