About The Position
EVERY BOAT THAT CARRIES THE INVINCIBLE OR YELLOWFIN NAME STARTS AS AN IDEA AND ENDS AS A FINELY TUNED MACHINE BUILT TO HANDLE THE TOUGHEST OFFSHORE CONDITIONS. THIS ROLE INTEGRATES YOU INTO THAT PROCESS — SUPPORTING DESIGN, PROTOTYPING, AND TESTING ALONGSIDE ENGINEERS WHO REGARD BOATBUILDING AS A VALUED CRAFT.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- CAD proficiency required
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 years experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist with design and development of new boat models
- Create CAD models and prototypes
- Conduct research on trends and technologies
- Participate in design reviews
- Support testing and evaluation of prototypes
- Assist with material and component selection
- Help ensure manufacturability with production teams
- Create and support technical documentation
