This position is for a CPMT/Systems Leader role on; Fords 7.3L Godzilla engine program. The specific areas / sub-systems of responsibility would be within the base engine / long block and would be defined at the point of employment and joining the base engine team based on the successful candidate’s skill set and experience couple with the skill set of the existing team. Examples of the ‘base engine’ / long block sub-systems are; Cyl Block, heads, PCV, EGR, Sealing, Covers, Valvetrain, VCT’s, Cam Drive, Piston and Rod, Rotating system, Oil pump & Lubrication, Engine bearings, Etc. Example of ‘Systems’ role would include interface to Truck Program Teams and coordination of the component interactions internal and external.

Responsibilities

  • Lead CPMT/Systems role on Ford's 7.3L Godzilla engine program.
  • Manage base engine / long block sub-systems (e.g., Cyl Block, heads, PCV, EGR, Sealing, Covers, Valvetrain, VCT’s, Cam Drive, Piston and Rod, Rotating system, Oil pump & Lubrication, Engine bearings).
  • Interface with Truck Program Teams.
  • Coordinate component interactions, both internal and external.
