• DFM
• DVP&R
• CAE/FEA analytical tools
• SCCAF
• SC/CC
• 8D
• root cause analysis
• product development and testing (seal gap analysis, door closing effort contribution analysis, wind noise, dust ingress and water management)
• familiar with gages, fixtures, tooling

Responsibilities

• Design and release dynamic sealing systems that meet or exceed cost, quality, weight and delivery targets
• Utilize concurrent engineering principles
• Apply thorough knowledge in DFMEA, DFM, DVP&R, CAE/FEA analytical tools, SCCAF, SC/CC, 8D, root cause analysis
• Conduct product development and testing (seal gap analysis, door closing effort contribution analysis, wind noise, dust ingress and water management)
• Familiarize with gages, fixtures, tooling
• Contribute to TGW reduction and continuous improvement initiatives
