About The Position

The Product Development Coordinator manages customer orders from entry through delivery, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clear communication across departments. The role supports internal and external customers in a fast-paced contract manufacturing environment focused on nutraceuticals and dietary supplements. The coordinator serves assigned accounts and handles the order process from requests for quotes and approved costing through purchase orders, sales orders, invoicing, production coordination, and pickup of finished products. The position also requires understanding how 4Excelsior processes orders from receipt through shipment and contributing to the Customer Service Team.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a business-related field.
Project management experience.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Good organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Ability to work under deadline pressure.

Nice To Haves

STEM major preferred.
Bilingual Mandarin preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts and provide accurate, timely order information.
Manage large volumes of incoming calls, emails, texts, and chats.
Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve customer satisfaction.
Answer questions about company policy, warranty, product functions, and product specifications.
Enter and maintain orders in the system, verifying pricing, quantities, and specifications.
Communicate proactively with internal teams to support on-time delivery.
Maintain accurate customer records, specifications, and communication logs.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts focused on service quality and process efficiency.
Manage customer orders from request for quote and approved costing through purchase order processing, sales order creation, invoicing, production coordination, and coordination of finished-product pickup.
Understand the company’s order process from receipt through shipment to contribute effectively to the Customer Service Team.
Perform other duties as assigned.
