About The Position

Precision Manufacturing is looking for a hands-on product development and build technician to help complete and document our Brown Bear 400 tractor. This is a full-time, day-shift position paying $20–$30 per hour based on experience and ability. This position combines shop work, product documentation, vendor communication, and mechanical problem-solving. It is not a traditional desk-only engineering position, and an engineering degree is not required. The person hired will work directly with our manufacturing team while the tractor is being built. This is a good position for someone who enjoys understanding how equipment works, solving problems, working with both their hands and a computer, and helping turn a developing product into a documented production machine.

Responsibilities

Contacting vendors for technical information and 3D models
Documenting electrical wiring and component connections
Reviewing models and drawings
Maintaining parts and build information
Recording changes made during assembly
Hands-on assembly of the tractor
Installing and routing wiring, hydraulic components, hoses, mechanical parts, controls, and other tractor systems
Identifying missing information or components
Working through problems as they are found
Documenting the final solution for future production and service
