Product Development and Engineering Testing Intern

Molekule GroupLakeland, FL
Onsite

About The Position

Molekule develops innovative air purification and air quality solutions utilizing proprietary photocatalytic technology. Our products are designed to improve indoor air quality by addressing airborne pollutants, including particulate matter, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and other contaminants. As part of our engineering team, interns work directly on the evaluation, testing, and improvement of products that impact the environments where people live and work. Molekule is seeking a motivated Product Development and Engineering Test Intern to support the Hardware Engineering and Development team. This is a hands-on role focused on executing engineering test procedures, collecting and analyzing product performance data, troubleshooting hardware systems, and contributing to product improvement efforts. The ideal candidate is a rising junior or senior pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field who enjoys working in a laboratory environment interacting with hardware and software, is comfortable operating independently, and takes ownership of assigned projects. While test plans and objectives will be provided, the intern will be expected to manage day-to-day execution, communicate progress, and proactively resolve challenges as they arise. This is an opportunity to add value to an active product development cycle. This position reports to the Engineering Team and provides exposure to real-world product testing, engineering analysis, and product development processes.
