About The Position

Stampin' Up! is seeking a talented Product Designer who thrives on creativity, collaboration, and hands-on experimentation. This role is ideal for someone who loves exploring new mediums, solving creative challenges, and creating approachable and inspiring crafting experiences that help people discover the joy of making. The Product Designer will help bring new crafting products and experiences to life, from concept to production, working on a variety of products including crafting kits, stamps, paper collections, tools, accessories, and other creative offerings. This role combines creative design, product development, and hands-on experimentation, requiring curiosity, creative problem-solving, and a willingness to learn. Success involves regularly testing concepts, refining ideas, and balancing creative exploration with practical considerations such as customer experience, manufacturability, timelines, and instructional clarity. The role also requires comfort navigating ambiguity as product development is an evolving process where priorities and requirements can shift.

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Illustration, Product Design, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
1-2 years of professional experience in Graphic Design, Product Design, or a related creative role.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or InDesign.
Ability to work across multiple mediums and effectively apply creative direction in support of product strategy and business objectives.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to independently prioritize work and produce accurate, high-quality deliverables within deadlines.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners and contributing to a team environment.
Ability to embrace feedback, iterate designs, and adapt with a growth mindset.
Passion for creating approachable and inspiring crafting experiences.

Responsibilities

Design and illustrate new products, including crafting kits, stamps, paper collections, tools, accessories, and other creative products aligned with business strategy and customer needs.
Help transform innovative concepts into products that make crafting approachable, achievable, and inspiring.
Transform concepts into engaging products and projects that support connecting people through creative crafting experiences.
Complete product assignments with increasing independence while maintaining quality standards and meeting project timelines.
Use hands-on experimentation to explore new materials, techniques, and creative possibilities.
Participate in reviews, present progress updates, and collaborate with stakeholders across multiple teams.
Learn and apply product design standards, manufacturing requirements, brand guidelines, and best practices.
Verify engineered artwork and physical products for accuracy and production readiness.
