About The Position

Abby Care is seeking an experienced, systems-oriented Product Designer for its in-house design team. Reporting to the Head of Product, this person will help shape how care is delivered, managed, and experienced across the platform. The role designs end-to-end web and mobile experiences for family caregivers, clinicians, and operators, addresses complex real-world problems, and contributes to product direction and the roadmap. The Product Designer owns the design lifecycle, from problem framing and user research through workflows, interaction design, high-fidelity UI, launch, and iteration. The work emphasizes durable, configurable systems and complex multi-step workflows—including information architecture, role-based permissions, states, statuses, lifecycles, and edge cases. The designer partners with product, engineering, operations, clinical, and compliance teams to account for differing user needs and technical, regulatory, and operational constraints, and contributes to trustworthy, transparent AI-assisted workflows with appropriate human oversight and guardrails. This is a full-time hybrid opportunity based in San Francisco.
