About The Position

Are you ready to start your design career shaping the future of private banking at the world's premier global financial institution? We're looking for an early-career product designer to help evolve the digital experiences within the Private Bank, learning to turn complex financial journeys into intuitive, elegant solutions alongside an experienced global design team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll focus on UX/UI design, collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, content strategists, and researchers to bring digital products and services to life. We'll surround you with mentorship and support your growth as you learn the craft, the domain, and our ways of working. Requirements

Graduated within the previous 12 months, with 0–1 years of full-time professional design experience.
A degree, or equivalent practical experience, in a design discipline such as Interaction Design, HCI, or User Experience Design, or in an adjacent field such as Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Engineering, or Communications
Professional product-design experience is not required. We welcome work from internships, coursework, capstone projects, hackathons, personal projects, and other self-directed experiences.
Strong visual-design fundamentals: typography, layout, hierarchy, color, and attention to detail
Interaction-design fundamentals: an understanding of how people move through flows and states
Product and problem-solving instincts: you think about the problem behind the screen
Curiosity and learning agility: you ask good questions and pick up new tools and contexts quickly
The ability to explain your design decisions
Openness to critique and a genuine enjoyment of collaboration and feedback
Evidence of iteration in your work, not just a polished final frame
A working understanding of how to apply design systems to your own work
Interest in emerging technology and AI, and a willingness to experiment
Experience with Figma or comparable design and prototyping tools
A portfolio demonstrating digital product, interaction, or experience design, ideally showing your process from problem, ideation, and testing through to solution, impact, and reflection (link required in resume; please include passwords if protected)

Responsibilities

Partner with product managers and engineers to understand complex product problems
Explore multiple design directions and translate research and business requirements into flows and interfaces
Produce design assets and interactive prototypes, using AI tools to move quickly
Design within an established design system
Participate in critique, sharing your work and the reasoning behind it
Test ideas with users and help advocate for accessible, inclusive experiences
