AngelList is building financial infrastructure for private markets, which total $28 trillion and have historically lacked the systems available in public markets. The company has more than $200 billion in assets and has funded over 30,000 startups. Its products include Funds, Nova, Meridian, and USVC. The Funds team aims to drive invested capital volume by serving larger, more complex customers and to raise the quality of its full-service fund management platform. The Product Designer will help rearchitect existing software into configurable accounting, intelligence, and investor management systems that meet institutional needs. The role will also explore the use of AI agents to turn service-heavy back-office workflows into software and create new product categories for fund managers. The position is suited to a designer who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys system-level design challenges, and is motivated by building private-markets infrastructure. AngelList uses a hybrid in-office model, with teammates working from an office at least two days per week: Tuesdays and either Wednesday or Thursday. Offices are located in New York City and San Francisco. Compensation includes a competitive base salary, benefits, and equity; the base salary is $270,000 or more annually, with the actual amount varying based on factors including background, experience, and location.
