About The Position

We are seeking a technically skilled and innovative Product Designer to join our team. This role involves designing new products through all phases of development—from initial business case and concept creation to detailed design and implementation. The successful candidate will also support existing product improvements and collaborate closely with manufacturing to ensure efficient production processes.

Requirements

Mechanical Engineering Degree or Engineering Technology Diploma.
Proficiency in gated product development and lean manufacturing principles.
Skilled in Solid Edge, SolidWorks, Revit, and MS Office.
Hands-on experience or basic understanding of power tools and hand tools.
Technically inclined, energetic, and productive.
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Self-motivated with strong initiative and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in manufacturing or HVAC industry considered an asset.

Responsibilities

Design and develop new products through all project phases: business case, concept development, detailed design, and implementation.
Implement design changes to existing products to enhance performance and reduce costs.
Provide day-to-day technical support for production and drive long-term process improvements.
Educate the market through presentations and sales visits.
Diagnose and resolve field issues promptly.
Collaborate with production to ensure efficient production processes.
